LINK DIAGNOSTICS

Redirect Checker

Inspect HTTP redirect status codes, destinations and redirect chains.

What does this check?

TinyURLFree validates each destination and redirect before our server connects to it. Localhost, private IP ranges, link-local networks, reserved addresses, unsupported ports and unsafe URL schemes are blocked.

The result describes HTTP and URL behavior only. A successful status code does not prove that a destination is free from malware, phishing or other harmful content.

HOW TO USE IT

Inspect an HTTP redirect chain step by step

Redirects are common for shortened links, moved pages, canonical migrations and tracking URLs. This checker exposes each HTTP hop so you can see exactly how the submitted address resolves.

TinyURLFree validates redirect destinations again before requesting them. Redirect loops, excessive hops and private or reserved destinations are restricted by the diagnostic engine.

Quick steps

  1. 1. Enter the public URL you want to inspect.
  2. 2. Run the redirect check.
  3. 3. Review each HTTP status, redirect location and final resolved URL.

Common questions

Which redirects can the tool detect?

It can inspect standard HTTP redirect responses such as 301, 302, 303, 307 and 308 when returned by the destination.

Will it follow an unlimited number of redirects?

No. Redirect depth is capped to prevent loops and excessive server-side requests.

Can it check localhost or private IPs?

No. Server-side diagnostics block private and reserved network space.
